Day 330 in my independence toward getting ready to meet Mickey
Happy 4th of July! Today my plan was to face a very big fear and reclaim my independence. Dear readers, you may remember that a month ago I had a very nasty fall in my bathtub, and it took three of us and a homemade version of a grappling hook to get me up and out of that tub. (Feel free to chuckle at that; I can now.) For the past month I have been driving up to the farm to shower in our sauna. (There’s no tub to climb over there.) Today I told Mike to listen for any loud thuds, to which he replied, “No more loud thuds!” 🙂 Love that man! I placed a stool right next to the tub, and I got in off of the stool. It worked like a charm. Then I leaned on the stool to get out of the tub. Clean again. Hallelujah! Fear faced…mischief managed! Praise God! Let me leave you with two thoughts from the Bible. “Perfect love casts out all fear.” and “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Amen and amen!
Have a great holiday, dear friends. Meet you at the Kingdom!
