Day 324 in my trek toward the Mick-ster

Today’s plan was to work FOODSTOCK 2015.  We (Mike and I and friends of ours) worked the four hour benefit for COOL Ministries. (COOL runs two food pantries and several transitional housing units for homeless families.)   Several of our friends and Mike worked from noon until 7:30.  I worked it from 2 to 7.  And I am pooped out!  We raised over $5000 at the park today and collected 905 pounds of food.  Plus we had raised over $10,000 from our corporate sponsors before the event. So all in all it was a very successful benefit.  And now I’m going to sleep.  Goodnight, dear readers.
